Ode to the Love:

Week end in Quiberon

You left everything to go there,
For fleeing all your concerns and worries.
You left the city and its traffic jams,
To contemplate this palette of images.

It’s there in Brittany, that you felt better;
When you talk about it, you are happy,
Your eyes glitter.
I am in that train, which takes me toward you,
In order to spend a week-end closer to you.

You took my hand and you guided me
In this beautiful country, which has adopted you.
My beloved how beautiful is the sea
At the point of Conguel.

I felt with the soul of a child
When our steps brushed the beach
Of Sable Blancs.
We waited until the end of the day,
And there, close to you my love,

I saw the sea to dress up with thousand fires.
I hardly dared to breathe, I widely opened my eyes.
When sun and sea mix together,
The ocean glitters from thousand of sparks.

Is it the horizon which catches fire?
Does water and fire get a soul?
I don’t know my beloved,
But I will always remember.

The night snuggled against you,
I listen to the wind, which sings in the masts.
The day rises, it is early morning,
Once again the sea and the sky are one.
A day, you will bring me on your boat,
And we will sail rocked by the waves.
The hours slowly drop off,
And my heart fills up with sorrow.

I will not forget the “Côte Sauvage”,
And all it splendid sightseeing,
Port Maria and Port Halliguen.
My love, I am sure I will be back a week end.
